HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is a technically and aesthetically advanced, versatile, and durable material used for a variety of applications, including surfacing such as worktops, tables, and other furniture. HPL consists of sheets of kraft paper impregnated with thermosetting resins and an outer layer, on both sides, of decorative paper impregnated with amino-plastic resins; combined together through high pressure (9 MPa) and high heat (150°C).
